Mathilde Berjat, Junior International Consultant

Ms Berjat has a Master Degree in European Studies and Governance from Sciences Po Grenoble (France), with a solid background in European economics, international relations, EU laws, public administration and related fields. She also did an Erasmus year in Gothenburg University (Sweden) where she was able to learn more about conflict resolution and international relations. She has been working as a Junior International Consultant in New Frontier Services since September 2018, after gaining experience as a trainee Research Analyst since March 2018. She has provided Desk and Research Support, as well as administrative support to several EU and UN agencies’ Mid-Term and Final Evaluation, Call for Proposal Assessments or project management in both in her native language (French) and English.

As part of the New Frontier Team, she gained exposure and provided support to numerous EU/UN Evaluation (DEVCO, CONNECT, DEAR, NEAR, UNIDO, UNDP) such as the Final Evaluation of the Programme UNIDO-PICAQ Evaluation of the EU cooperation with the PTOM Saint Pierre et Miquelon during the 9th and 10th EDF, the Evaluation and Feasibility Study of the NEXUS Phase I and II, the Evaluation of the SADC Project Preparation Development Facility and Mapping of the EU Contribution to the African Union. This, among many other projects, confirmed her interest in International and European Development policies.

At NFS, Mathilde is in charge of coordinating and providing consultancy support for international projects, particularly the assessment of EU funded projects such as FP7 and Horizon 2020, as well as projects funded by international organisations such as UNDP and UNIDO

Prior to joining the NFS team, she participated in the yearly review of the European Construction Technology Platform’s Project Review as an intern. She was also committed in the student association Alp’ Europe (official Science Po Grenoble Association) which aims at awareness-raising, networking and development of interest on European Union policies for university students.

Languages: French Mother tongue and proficient in English, and basic knowledge of Spanish.
